EVEN WITH THE CHANGE IN FOCUS TO WAR PRODUCTION, NESBITT MAINTAINED ITS PRESENCE IN THE UNIT VENTILATOR MARKET, MOVING THIS LIMITED PRODUCTION TO A SMALLER FACILITY.  RESPONDING TO WAR-TIME RESTRICTIONS ON STRATEGIC MATERIALS, SUCH AS STEEL, IN OCTOBER, 1942 NESBITT BROUGHT OUT THE NESBITT SYNCRETIZER WITH A NON-METALLIC CASING.
