THE ATLANTIC CITY YEARS - CA. 1903 TO 1922
BECOMING ESTABLISHED IN ATLANTIC CITY, ELIZABETH AND JOHN NESBITT BEGAN TO GROW THEIR FAMILY.  THE ABOVE PHOTOGRAPH SHOWS THE FAMILY IN FRONT OF THEIR HOME AT 212 SOUTH VICTORIA AVENUE IN 1922.  FLANKED BY THEIR PARENTS, FROM LEFT TO RIGHT,  ARE ELIZABETH (AGE 20), ALBERT J. (AGE 22), ALVINA (AGE 19), JOHN J. JR. (AGE 14) AND HARRY J. (AGE 10).  

THE FAMILY BUSINESS WAS ALSO GROWING.   PUBLIC BUILDING WORK ALWAYS HELD A SPECIAL FASCINATION FOR JOHN J. NESBITT, AND BY 1910 HE WAS INSTALLING HEATING AND VENTILATION SYSTEMS AS A CONTRACTOR IN SCHOOL BUILDINGS BOTH IN PENNSYLVANIA AND NEW JERSEY.
